Brookmont Capital Management has announced that the Brookmont Catastrophic Bond ETF (ticker ILS), has surpassed $150 million in assets under management as of October 28th, 2026, which comes shortly after the fund transitioned its primary listing from the New York Stock Exchange to the Texas Stock Exchange and secured a lead market maker.

brookmont-catastrophic-bond-etf-logoRecall that the Brookmont Catastrophic Bond ETF (ticker ILS), was launched and listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) ARCA platform in early April, becoming the first catastrophe bond fund strategy to be US exchange-listed and traded.

Then in late August, we learned that Brookmont Capital Management would be moving the cat bond ETF strategy to the Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE) which officially transitioned on September 18th, 2026.

As we explained at the time, the key drive behind this move was to expand market maker participation in the catastrophe bond fund, which proved to be a challenge when fund was first launched.

Brookmont explained that since its inception, the fund has managed to attract steady investor interest supported by an active secondary market.

In addition, Brookmont also announced that financial technology firm GTS is now the lead market maker for the catastrophe bond fund.

The company emphasised that joining forces with GTS and transferring to the TXSE will strengthen the fund’s trading structure and drive its next phase of growth.

We reported back in August that the Brookmont Catastrophic Bond ETF had reached $95.6 million in AUM, but as mentioned, the fund has now managed to surpass an impressive $150 million.

Brookmont also confirmed that the fund will continue to trade under the ticker ILS, while its name, investment objectives, and investment strategies will all remain unchanged.

Ethan Powell, Principal and Chief Investment Officer of Brookmont Capital Management, commented: “Working with GTS and moving ILS to TXSE mark an important next chapter in the continued growth of the fund. The response to ILS since launch has reinforced our conviction that there is a place for catastrophe bonds in a broad range of portfolios, and we’re excited to continue expanding access to the asset class.”

Rob Marrocco, Global Head of Exchange-Traded Products for TXSE, said: “The future of the ETF ecosystem is going to be dictated by quality and innovation, and that is exactly what Brookmont has been focused on for ILS and now their partnership with GTS and the Texas Stock Exchange. ILS is a case study in how TXSE’s unique ETF offering can support a fund through every phase of its lifecycle.”
