This was the first ever Artemis insurance-linked securities (ILS) conference held in London, UK.
September 6th 2022:
08:00 – 19:00 (including networking drinks reception). Venue details.
For our first Artemis London event, we are adopting a dual-themed approach as we want to bring the market together and celebrate the accepted 25th anniversary year of the catastrophe bond market, while also looking ahead at insurance-linked securities (ILS) market conditions as the end of year reinsurance renewal discussions begin.
To kick off our first Artemis London event we will be taking a look back at catastrophe bond past, analysing catastrophe bond present, and divining the catastrophe bond future, all under the banner of an anniversary celebration for the innovative catastrophe bond asset class.
View our agenda for the day here.
The remainder of the day will set the tone for ILS market discussions at the 2022 Monte Carlo Reinsurance Rendez-vous event, which begins a few days after our Artemis London conference. So expect discussions on the outlook for collateralised reinsurance products and a focus on what ILS fund managers will be seeking from their renewal engagements this year.
Overall, expect forward-looking discussions between insurance-linked securities (ILS) industry experts, delivering the quality of content you've learned to anticipate from us at Artemis.
With our events, we try to create the kind of conference that we would want to attend ourselves, mixing great speakers, insightful content, a forward-thinking outlook and quality networking.

Industry thought-leaders, ILS fund managers, and guests, discussing the insurance-linked securities (ILS) market, capital markets future role in reinsurance, and the ILS investment opportunity.
Artemis London 2022 will look to inspire, inform, connect the dots, spark ideas, and offer experienced executives a chance to reflect on what has gone well and what challenges or opportunities lie ahead in mobilizing the capital markets to invest in insurance risk.
This is a carefully curated event, designed to attract those interested in advanced concepts related to ILS and risk transfer, or those who recognize the unique opportunity to hear from ILS stalwarts and thought-leaders.
Attended by senior executives from (re)insurance companies, catastrophe bond & ILS fund managers, pension and institutional investors, hedge funds, service providers, technology start-ups, investment bankers and more.

Artemis London 2022 will feature a full day of both celebratory and forward-looking discussion from ILS, insurance and reinsurance market thought-leaders and guests.

We begin the conference with a celebration of the catastrophe bond as we're still in the accepted 25th anniversary, or silver Jubilee, year of a famous cat bond named Georgetown Re. Then we'll have sessions focused on catastrophe bonds and the cat bond market, gradually changing pace towards discussion of what's coming next and finally setting the agenda for the ILS market at the Monte Carlo Rendez-Vous.
