Attendees from more than 90 organisations joined us in Singapore for a full-day of educational and inspirational talks, as well as valuable networking, all focused on the catastrophe bond and insurance-linked securities (ILS) asset class in the Asia Pacific region.
We were delighted to return to Singapore in 2024 for our sixth in-person insurance-linked securities (ILS) conference held in the city.
This year we had our biggest ever contingent of local institutional investors, family offices, asset managers and other allocators, making up over one-third of the organisations represented on the day.

Our ILS Asia 2024 conference was held at the Suntec Convention Centre, where we gathered for this event last year. The conference was designed with the same goals as previous years, prioritising education, updates on the ILS market and making connections. Bringing together those interested or involved in ILS from the Asia and Pacific regions with executives from the global insurance-linked securities (ILS) marketplace.
For 2024, the theme for our ILS Asia conference will be "Renewing growth opportunities," which is appropriate given the robust performance of the catastrophe bond and ILS asset class over the last year, the fact a number of Singapore domiciled catastrophe bond and ILS transactions have renewed their coverage for sponsors, while expansion of the ILS asset class and its activity in the Asia Pacific region is a key goal for many market participants.
A year ago, Artemis held its ILS Asia 2023 conference with almost 200 attendees joining us for a full-day of ILS education, inspiration and networking. Prior to that, Artemis was last in Singapore for our fourth annual insurance-linked securities (ILS) conference in the city in 2019, which built on the success of 2016, 2017 and 2018 events.
With our events, we try to create the kind of conference that we would want to attend ourselves, mixing great speakers, insightful content, a forward-thinking outlook and quality networking.
