Bolding joins Gallagher Securities as Global Head of Sales & Distribution

Gallagher Securities, the insurance-linked securities (ILS) and capital markets broker-dealer division of reinsurance broker Gallagher Re, has made a key hire in Jason Bolding, who was most recently at Credit Suisse.

Bolding’s new role, as Global Head of Sales & Distribution, will see him leading the investor and fund side activities at Gallagher Securities, it seems.

He joined Gallagher Securities earlier this month, according to his Linkedin profile.

Before this move, Bolding was working at Credit Suisse as Head of ILS, United States, sitting in the Credit Suisse Asset Management division, a position he took on in 2019.

Before that, Bolding worked at insurance and reinsurance broker Aon for almost 15 years in its reinsurance capital markets division, Aon Securities.

Bolding was a Managing Director in the Aon Securities team, focused on the distribution side of insurance-linked securities (ILS) and catastrophe bonds, involving sales, primary distribution and syndication of ILS and other capital market backed reinsurance deals.

His new position at Gallagher Securities appears more similar to his role at Aon, putting his years of expertise and deep relationships within the ILS industry to good work.

Gallagher Re has been building out is ILS focused Securities team of late, with other key hires being Alexandre Delacroix from Natixis for an EMEA focused capital markets and ILS role, and Keshav Gupta who was at AXIS Capital before his move.
