Gallagher Re, the reinsurance broking arm of the wider AJG intermediary group, has made a senior insurance-linked securities (ILS) hire, taking Keshav Gupta from his most recent role at AXIS Capital.
Gupta joins Gallagher Re as a Vice President, ILS Structuring and Origination.
In the role he will work with Gallagher Re clients, to design, develop and structure ILS risk transfer opportunities for ceding companies, including work in the catastrophe bond market, we understand.
Gupta joins from his most recent position as ILS Manager at Bermuda headquartered insurance and reinsurance company AXIS Capital.
Gupta joined AXIS Capital in 2018 as an ILS Analyst, then moved into the role of ILS Associate in 2020 and finally became ILS Manager at the firm at the start of 2022.
Before joining AXIS, Gupta has spent time working at Brown Brothers Harriman, Guy Carpenter and SCS Financial.
Gallagher Re has been hiring to build-out its insurance-linked securities (ILS) broking capabilities in recent months, with a number of positions having been listed on the Artemis Jobs Board.
