New York based alternative investment specialist, BroadRiver Asset Management, L.P, has raised $876 million of commitments for its third life settlements fund, with capital coming from institutional limited partners from North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

Vida Capital, an alternative asset manager with around $3.5 billion under management in various insurance-linked strategies has raised $886 million for a new closed-end life settlement fund, which is predominantly focused on longevity-contingent risk.

A life settlements investment fund, Life Settlement Assets PLC, has been listed on the London Stock Exchange’s specialist fund segment this morning, as the manager of the strategy looks to gain access to a broader cross-section of investors through a listed closed-ended vehicle.

Alternative investment specialist, BroadRiver Asset Management, L.P, has successfully raised $366 million from existing and new investors for its life settlement fund, BroadRiver II.

Interesting news this morning from Tranen Capital, a provider of alternative investment opportunities particularly around life settlements, who have issued a press release about their life settlements fund which they say is the first to offer investors protection against longevity risk.
