The ILS investment managers operate strategies for third-party investors and manage portfolios of insurance and reinsurance risk exposed assets in ILS funds and managed accounts for their clients.
ILS managers typically have strong underwriting, actuarial and portfolio management expertise, as well as capital market specific expertise in securitization and operation of ILS investment funds.
