Insurance-linked securities funds managed by specialist ILS investment manager Leadenhall Capital Partners LLP have backed an agreement to acquire the shares of Austrian life insurance specialist company austrion Life.

According to the latest data from the Plenum CAT Bond UCITS Fund Indices, catastrophe bond fund strategies in the UCITS format averaged a 0.62% return for the month of June 2026 which beat last year, while the rolling-twelve month return rose slightly to 10.22% as a result of the stronger month.

The Victory Pioneer CAT Bond Fund has now surpassed the $2 billion in assets under management milestone, extending its AUM to $2.2 billion by June 30th 2026. The combined AUM across dedicated mutual and institutional insurance-linked securities (ILS) funds managed by the Pioneer Investments team has now grown to over $5.8 billion.

Stone Ridge Asset Management has grown assets under management across its mutual catastrophe bond, insurance-linked securities and reinsurance fund strategies by more than 8% in the last quarter of record, with additional AUM growth in the following weeks taking them to around $7 billion, a new all-time high.

Florida’s Citizens Property Insurance Corporation once again benefited from meaningful ILS manager and capital markets support for its traditional reinsurance needs in 2026, with these third-party capital investors taking 52% of the placement, while Nephila Capital was the largest single participant.
