Reinsurance broker Capsicum Re is to be renamed as Gallagher Re, to bring the company into line with its parent Arthur J. Gallagher  & Co. (AJG).

Reinsurance broker Capsicum Re, a unit of Arthur J. Gallagher  & Co., has announced a new Executive Committee (ExCo) leadership as the company seeks to deliver on further growth.

Broking and service group Arthur J. Gallagher  & Co. (AJG) has now taken 100% ownership of Capsicum Re, the specialty reinsurance broking joint venture that it had established alongside sector veterans Grahame “Chily” Chilton and Rupert Swallow.

Capsicum Re, the specialty reinsurance brokerage established as a joint-venture between broking and service group Arthur J. Gallagher (AJG) alongside sector veterans Grahame “Chily” Chilton and Rupert Swallow, is set to move to 100% AJG ownership after terms were agreed.

Interesting news has broken this evening that reinsurance broking industry veteran Grahame “Chily” Chilton is teaming up with Arthur J. Gallagher (AJG) to launch a new reinsurance broker brand, Capsicum Re.
