TigerRisk hires international broker Juan England from Willis Re

TigerRisk Partners LLC, the global risk, capital and reinsurance brokerage and advisory, has added another hire, taking Juan England from Willis Re for a role focused on European and international reinsurance clients.

TigerRisk has been one of the broking firms to benefit from an exodus from some of the leading firms in recent months.

In just the last few weeks, the brokerage has added a new London retrocession market hire Oliver Denbigh, who joined the firm from Aon, and as we reported yesterday another senior reinsurance broking hire from Aon, in Joe Jackson who joined TigerRisk in its New York office.

This time it is a European and international market hire, with Juan England joining TigerRisk as a Partner with a mandate to help develop large, multi-regional clients in Europe and other international markets.

England has specific experience in risk analytics and modeling of non-US catastrophe exposures, which TigerRisk will put to work in better serving its International client base.

England was most recently a managing director at reinsurance broker Willis Re, covering Latin America & the Caribbean, where he was regional leader for LAC multinationals, retrocession and the public-private sector practice.

England began his insurance industry career in 2006 as a catastrophe risk analyst with broker Willis Group.

He specialised in Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe and was then promoted to deputy managing director, Willis Re Analytics, later becoming managing director with a focus on the brokers’ international and specialty clients.
