Lockton Re, the reinsurance business of the privately held independent global broking firm, has announced the hire of Dan Shaw to its London based North America division.
Shaw will join Lockton Re from his most recent role at Acrisure Re, where he was Head of US Wholesale P&C Reinsurance.
He will step into a Senior Broker role at Lockton Re’s North America division later this year, based in the firms London office.

Prior to working at Acrisure Re, Shaw has a 25 year career working across property and casualty insurance and reinsurance in the broking world.
His career began at Heath Lambert, before moving to Aon Benfield as a North America Treaty Reinsurance broker, and finally to Beach & Associates as Senior Vice President.
He joined Acrisure Re just six months ago in December 2020.
Shaw will report to Mark Higgins, Head of London North America.
