Hamilton Insurance Group, the Bermuda based insurance and reinsurance holding company, has announced the hiring of Brad Sforza, previously of PartnerRe, to the role of Head of Property Reinsurance for its U.S. reinsurance platform.
Hamilton has been building out a U.S. property reinsurance platform within its Hamilton Re operation, with a number of hires driving an expansion of its business.
Sforza is the latest and he joins Hamilton as Senior Vice President, Head of Property Reinsurance of the U.S. reinsurance platform, effective January 27th 2020.
He will work alongside Head of Casualty & Specialty Reinsurance Steve Wilson in Hamilton’s New York office, as the build-out of Hamilton’s global reinsurance footprint expands further into the U.S.
Sforza joins Hamilton from his most recent role with reinsurance firm PartnerRe where he was Vice President, Property and Multiline Treaty.

Sforza has 20 years of reinsurance industry experience, gained at PartnerRe and prior to that more than 14 years spent at broker Willis Re where he was Executive Vice President responsible for client management and business development. His career began as a broker analyst at reinsurance focused Aon Benfield.
Hamilton has an active reinsurance sidecar in Turing Re and a growing focus on ILS through its newly renamed Hamilton ILS platform.
