Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions division has announced the hiring of Joe Sergio Jackson to its US reinsurance broking team, hiring him back from rival firm TigerRisk after just one year.
Jackson had left Aon Reinsurance Solutions just a year or so ago for TigerRisk Partners, following a roughly fourteen year stint with the company.
But now Aon has secured Jackson’s return, appointing him as a Senior Managing Director in its US Reinsurance Solutions unit.
Jackson will be based in New York and his focus will be on key property accounts, both regionally and globally, with additional responsibilities across segments of casualty reinsurance and also retrocession business.
Jackson will also be be involved in the expansion of existing and new business, the company said.
He will report to Greggory Clark, Executive Managing Director within Reinsurance Solutions, and Randy Stanco, Senior Managing Director, Reinsurance Solutions.
Jackson joins Aon from TigerRisk where he has spent around a year working as a reinsurance broker.
With 15 years’ of experience, largely at Aon, Jackson has worked across many lines of business, with a primary focus on property reinsurance, both regionally and globally.
Jackson’s career began at reinsurance broker Benfield in 2006, which later became Aon Benfield and then Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions.
