The GAM Swiss Re Cat Bond UCITS Fund has expanded its assets under management (AUM) meaningfully over recent months, reaching $2.03 billion as of August 4th, 2026, while GAM’s underlying performance fee income has sharply increased to CHF 6.0 million.

Insurance-linked securities investment fund strategies, across catastrophe bonds and private ILS, experienced their strongest month of returns this year so far in June 2026, averaging a return of 0.83%, according to the ILS Advisers Fund Index.

Everest Group, the global insurance and reinsurance specialist, reported an increase in premiums ceded to Mt. Logan Re Ltd., its third-party capitalised sidecar-like structure in the second-quarter of 2026, while the company also disclosed ceding $274 million of written premiums to its new Annapurna Re casualty reinsurance sidecar vehicle.
