AIR Worldwide has announced that it has now modeled the risks on over $10b worth of catastrophe bonds since the market took off in 1996. They also claim to have modeled the risks on over 56% of the deals struck since 2007. During 2008 they provided services to 70% of the catastrophe bond capital issued and in 2009 they have provided risk modeling and calculation agent services to all the deals issued so far.
That’s pretty impressive! AIR Worldwide say they have provided services to 47 transactions to date. We have details on many of these deals, however we only know that AIR Worldwide worked on 24 of them according to our sources at the time (those deals detailed below).
