Specialist insurance-linked securities (ILS) and reinsurance linked investment manager Leadenhall Capital Partners LLP has hired George Cooper to a new role as non-life analyst at the firm, who joins the company from French reinsurer SCOR.
Cooper most recently worked as a non-life analyst for SCOR Global P&C, supporting the reinsurers Lloyd’s of London based catastrophe risk focused operations.
He had worked at SCOR since 2015, when he joined the reinsurer as a trainee natural catastrophe risk analyst.
Cooper will be based at the Leadenhall head office in London and will report to Head of Non-Life Portfolio Management at Leadenhall Capital Partners, Ben Adolph.
Adolph commented on the new hire, “We welcome George to Leadenhall. With our growing AUM base in Non-Life his support for the Portfolio Management team will be important to manage and expand our capabilities.”
Leadenhall Capital Partners recently announced that its ILS assets under management had grown to above $5 billion, reaching a new milestone in the firms growth.
