Two new companies have been registered in Bermuda that use the name Radix Re, Artemis has learned, a non-life underwriting entity and a holding company structure. We suspect these entities may be for Radix Insurance Linked Strategies (Radix ILS), the Bermuda-based third-party capital manager and reinsurance capacity deployment company.

Broking giant Aon has reported that its organic revenue generated from insurance-linked securities (ILS) placements grew by double-digits in the second-quarter of 2025.

Speaking during a second-quarter earnings call today, Kevin O’Donnell, CEO of Bermuda based underwriter and third-party reinsurance capital manager RenaissanceRe, said that he doesn’t see issues with capital wanting to enter the sector regardless of return.
