Marc Brogli rejoins Euler ILS Partners investment team

Euler ILS Partners, the specialist Swiss insurance-linked securities (ILS) investment manager, has confirmed that Marc Brogli has been appointed Investment Director after almost four years with Aon Securities.

Brogli has worked in institutional investment management for over twenty years, working across a broad range of asset classes, and positions with catastrophe bond and ILS portfolio management responsibilities.

Most recently, he served as Managing Director, Insurance Linked Securities at Aon Securities, the broker-dealer and investment banking arm of the broking firm, where he spent several years advising institutional investors and insurance market participants across a broad range of catastrophe bond and ILS transactions.

Prior to Aon Securities, Brogli worked at Credit Suisse Insurance Linked Strategies Ltd., before the firm rebranded to Euler ILS Partners. During his stint at the firm, he served as ILS Portfolio Manager.

Brogli began his career in the industry by working at Man Investments in 2005, where he was based in Zurich, Switzerland, before later going on to work at UBS, Brummer & Partners and Northern Star Partners.

In 2012, he then moved to Dynapartners where he began to specialise in ILS such as catastrophe bonds.

At the Raiffeisen Switzerland owned Dynapartners, Brogli became an analyst focused on insurance-linked securities (ILS) in 2013.

Around mid-2015, the Dynapartners ILS team moved to Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM), the institutional asset management arm of Swiss private bank group Lombard Odier, where Brogli then went on to become a Portfolio Manager focused on the managers UCITS cat bond fund strategy.
