Aeolus Capital Management Ltd., the specialist insurance-linked securities (ILS) and reinsurance investment manager, has announced a series of key promotions across its underwriting, reinsurance, retro, finance, legal, and operational teams.
In underwriting, William Thuell has been promoted to Vice President, Underwriting at the ILS investment manager.
Thuell brings deep sector expertise, including over four and a half years at ILS fund manager Elementum Advisors, and more than a year as a Bermuda-based underwriter for SIG Re, before joining Aeolus in 2024 as Assistant Vice President, Underwriting.
Within finance and tax, Adam Lynch, an eight-year veteran at the company, has been named Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer.
At the same time, Aeolus has also announced that Tamika Williams has been promoted to Vice President, Controller – Corporate, Retro and Financial Planning & Analysis, while Milique Fubler steps into the role of VP, Controller – Reinsurance.
In addition, Zahid Ahmed has been appointed to Vice President, Head of Tax and Financial Planning & Analysis. Ahmed has been with Aeolus for over 12 years, having joined the firm in late 2013 as a Senior Tax Accountant. Prior to Aeolus, he spent over five years working in tax-based roles at EY.
In operations and legal, Kristin Alexander has been named Senior Vice President, Head of Human Resources & Operations. Throughout her 18-year tenure with Aeolus, Alexander has held several key roles, most recently serving as VP, Head of HR & Operations.
And finally, Melissa Lindo has been promoted to Paralegal at the ILS investment manager.
Aeolus also announced the promotion of Sam Brangman to IT Analyst, following the successful completion of the firm’s nine-month graduate internship program.
