Mont Fort Re sidecar details

The fully-collateralized Mont Fort Re reinsurance sidecar vehicle was established by Flagstone Re to facilitate third-party transactions in credit insurance and reinsurance through its segregated accounts, in early 2006 to the size of $60m. The company aims to use the proceeds of its issuances of preferred shares to underwrite reinsurance ceded to it by Flagstone.
