RMS hires Mike Pritula as President

Risk modelling and risk analytics firm RMS has hired Mike Pritula, a former McKinsey alumni, as its President, strengthening the executive bench at the company.

In the role Pritula will lead RMS’ client service and market development, charged with ensuring the company helps its clients succeed.

Pritula, an insurance and reinsurance industry veteran with 35 years spent at McKinsey advising the sector, will strengthen RMS’ executive board at a time when the company is positioning itself not just as a risk modeller, but also as a company that can help its clients achieve transformation through analytics and technology services.

Pritula joins the RMS Executive Committee, alongside CEO Hemant Shah; CFO Peter Eidelman; Mohsen Rahnama, chief risk modeling officer; Eric Yau, general manager of platform and software; and Michael Steel, global head of solutions.

As well as his year’s of experience working at McKinsey assisting insurance and reinsurance industry clients to adapt to changing market forces, Pritula also holds positions on the Boards of the School of Risk Management at St. John’s, the International Insurance Society and the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation.
