Centaur Fund Services, a global investment fund administration specialist, has hired IC Condat to the role of Head of Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) at its Bermuda entity Centaur Fund Services (Bermuda) Limited, as it pushes into the ILS fund servicing space.
IC Condat was previously with ILS fund specialists SS&C Fund Services (Bermuda) Limited (formerly Prime Management Limited), so has plenty of experience in advising and providing services to ILS and catastrophe bond funds, as well as other collateralized reinsurance vehicles.
“The ever growing interest and appetite in the ILS asset class provides us with great business opportunities as clients really value Centaur’s professional and client first approach,” commented Condat. “I am excited to be part of a great team and I am focused on building and growing Centaur’s ILS service offering.”
Condat, a Certified Public Accountant and an Associate in Reinsurance with more than twelve years’ audit and fund administration experience, will be based in Centaur’s Bermuda office.

Centaur Fund Services Bermuda has also signed on as a listing sponsor with the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX), the exchange where the majority of the catastrophe bonds issued in recent years have been listed, so now has the ability to act as a listing sponsor for any ILS issues looking to house themselves at the BSX.
