Versutus Ltd. sidecar details

Global specialty insurer and reinsurer, Brit plc, launched Versutus, a Bermuda registered special purpose reinsurance sidecar in January 2015, with $75m of capital. The entire capitalisation of Brit’s fully-collateralized reinsurance sidecar was contributed by third-party investors.

At the time of launch, Brit Global Specialty CEO, Matthew Wilson said; “We are delighted to have secured funding for Versutus from a range of new partners whom we look forward to working with closely in the future.”
