Vesttoo targets AI advancement, aims to grow Insurance Linked Program

Vesttoo, the technology company that uses proprietary artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions with the goal of helping companies assess and transfer risks to the capital markets, has joined an NVIDIA run program to help it further the development of its AI and grow its new Insurance Linked Program.

vesttoo-logoVesttoo has joined the NVIDIA Inception program, which is designed to nurture companies that are revolutionising industries using advanced technology such as artificial intelligence (AI) and data science.

Vesttoo works with insurance and reinsurance industry participants to help them gain a better understanding of their exposures using its technology, while constructing data based methods to structure risk transfer offerings that can tap into the capital markets as a source of reinsurance capacity.

Its AI-based risk modeling technology allows for accurate and objective risk models to be created, which are then used to structure, price and place alternative reinsurance deals.

It enables a much broader range of risks to be transferred to capital market investors and can also facilitate a faster time-to-market, while offering full risk transparency and performance monitoring, helping to also promote liquidity in the reinsurance ecosystem.

Joining the NVIDIA Inception program will allow Vesttoo to further develop its proprietary technologies in order to support its growing global pipeline.

It will also help the company grow its new insurance-linked program (ILP), Vesttoo’s security-based investment portfolio.

“We are thrilled to be part of NVIDIA Inception and join a network of market leaders that are reshaping entire industries. We look forward to collaborating with NVIDIA and taking advantage of their in-depth knowledge in AI and machine learning to further grow our ILP program,” said Yaniv Bertele, Vesttoo’s Chief Executive Officer.

Vesttoo’s recently launched Insurance-Linked Program (ILP) is its first venture into raising capital to support the transactions the company structures and it’s a novel way to help investors make their existing high-quality assets work harder for them, while pledging them as reinsurance collateral.

The Insurance-Linked Program (ILP) is designed to be a multi-billion security-based investment portfolio, focused on non-catastrophe insurance risks.

The ILP program is based on Life and P&C insurance risks and gives institutional investors an opportunity to earn additional long-term, sustainable alpha from existing assets, without the need to allocate cash.

NVIDIA’s program will provide Vesttoo with technological support, access to an extensive network, and the opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading experts and other AI-driven organisations, all of which should help the company as it continues to grow its business.
