Twelve Capital Management, the Zurich-headquartered catastrophe bond, insurance-linked securities (ILS) and reinsurance linked investment fund manager, has promoted Dinesh Pawar as its new CEO of UK operations.
As well as being the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Twelve Capital UK, Pawar is also Strategy Head of the investment managers’ Liquid Insurance Debt activities.
Pawar joined Twelve Capital in 2014 as Director, Portfolio Management and Head of Trading, as well as Deputy CEO of Twelve Capital UK.
He then took on the lead role for liquid insurance debt investment strategies at the firm in 2020.
Prior to joining Twelve Capital, Pawar was Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Alpha Trading at Aviva Investors from 2009-2013.
He has also previously worked in asset management roles at Deutsche Bank, ABN AMRO and Gartmore.
Pawar is a specialist in insurance debt and subordinated bonds and this has become an important segment of the insurance and reinsurance linked investments universe for manager Twelve Capital.
