Triton Re brings Japanese capital to the convergence markets
19th January 2012A recently formed Bermuda special purpose insurer is bringing capital from one of the largest Japanese family office investors to Bermuda and plans to deploy some of it into the reinsurance convergence markets in catastrophe bonds, industry loss warranties and sidecars. Triton Re launched in December with $30m of capital according to the Royal Gazette.
