Tokio Solution Management adds two in client servicing and legal roles

Tokio Solution Management Ltd., the collateralized reinsurance, insurance-linked securities (ILS) and reinsurance convergence facilitating arm of Tokio Millennium Re, has added two experienced executives in client servicing and legal roles.

Tokio Solution is a full service facilitator to the reinsurance convergence market, providing services to issuers, sponsors and investors of catastrophe bonds and private insurance-linked securities (ILS) or collateralized reinsurance transactions.

Tokio Solution has hired Susan Lane to the role of Senior Vice President, Head of Business Development and Client Services. Susan joins the firm with over 15 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, including risk finance and risk management, specialising in business development including the formation and management of captives, insurance and reinsurance companies and alternative risk structures.

Most recently Susan was with Aon Insurance Managers (Bermuda) Ltd. where she held the role of Senior Vice President of Business Development. Prior to that, Susan worked in the insurance industry in the Cayman Islands and Ireland.

Additionally, Tokio Solution has hired John Drnek to the role of Vice President, Legal Counsel. John has over 12 years of capital markets and reinsurance experience, with his most recent role being at Mayer Brown LLP in New York where he was a Senior Associate in the Corporate and Securities Department.

Prior to that, John was with Lovells LLP (now Hogan Lovells US LLP) in New York in the Corporate Insurance and Reinsurance Department. He began his legal career in the Capital Markets Department of Cadwalader, Wickersham and Taft LLP in New York.
