TigerRisk Partners LLC, the global risk, capital and reinsurance brokerage and advisory, has announced the hiring of Bill O’Keefe from consultancy McKinsey to become the firms new Head of Strategy.
O’Keefe began his career on the broking and reinsurance side at Aon, but has since spent 8 years at McKinsey becoming Partner in 2017.
At TigerRisk in the Head of Strategy role, O’Keefe will be tasked with identifying growth opportunities for the firm, as well as advising its leadership and consulting with clients to drive optimal results.
“Bill is an exciting hire for our team. He brings the breadth and depth of knowledge that our clients need during these challenging times,” Rob Bredahl, President of TigerRisk explained.
“He knows the insurance industry extremely well and has a unique ability to bring clarity to complex situations and deliver solutions that are both impactful and sustainable. Bill will be a tremendous asset to Tiger as well as our clients.”
During his time at McKinsey, O’Keefe worked with insurance company clients on a wide range of strategic and operational issues, becoming a global leader of the consultancy firms Insurance Strategy and Underwriting practices.
