Securis Investment Partners appoints Judy Klugman to Board

Securis Investment Partners, the London-headquartered insurance-linked securities (ILS) investment manager, has announced the appointment of experienced catastrophe bond and ILS market specialist Judy Klugman as an independent Non-Executive Director to its Board.

Klugman is a very well-known figure in the cat bond and ILS industry, having spent over 24 years working at reinsurance firm Swiss Re in capital market-focused positions.

During her time at the reinsurer, Klugman played an instrumental role in the development of Swiss Re’s stature in the global catastrophe bond market.

Her successful track-record at Swiss Re spanned across activities including ILS deal-structuring, distribution, sales and investor relations, before she departed that company last year.

With more than 25 years working in capital markets, almost all of which within cat bonds and ILS, Klugman brings a great deal of experience and contacts to her new role as a non-exec on the Securis Investment Partners Board.

Her most recent position at Swiss Re was as the Global Head of ILS Distribution and Sales, up to her departure at the end of June 2023.

During her time at Swiss Re, Klugman also held a range of senior ILS and capital markets-focused positions, including Managing Director of Capital Markets and Co-Head of ILS.
