Securis Investment Partners LLP, the London headquartered insurance-linked securities (ILS) and reinsurance-linked investment manager, has hired Clint Graham to the role of Senior Analyst within the non-life team at the firm.
Graham, who is based in Bermuda, had previously worked with ILS investment manager Nephila Capital for almost four years as a Quantitative Risk Analyst.
Prior to his time at Nephila, Graham was based in London and worked as an Executive Director at reinsurance broker Willis Re for nearly five years, before which he worked for fellow reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter for almost three years as an Assistant Vice President.
He began his career at Liberty Syndicates in London, working as a Catastrophe Risk Modeller.
Graham studied at various University of London colleges, gaining a Masters in Financial Engineering, a Graduate Diploma in Financial Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts.
The role of analyst at ILS fund managers is becoming increasingly important, as firms like Securis grow their portfolios and look to ensure underwriting is backed by science and catastrophe modelling, which helps them to make appropriate investment decisions.
