The Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP) has appointed a new Investment Associate for insurance-linked securities (ILS) within its Capital Markets group, hiring from within to name Agnes Chang to the role.
Chang has worked at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP) for more than one year within the alternative investment unit, where she provided input to inform investment portfolio decisions.
In that position Chang performed due diligence on alternative investment managers, assisted on portfolio construction and provided input to research and risk analysis on alternative asset classes and funds. She also monitored the performance of different alternative investment managers and funds.
Given the alternative investment focus and experience in performing investment manager diligence and monitoring, Chang is well-suited to shift into the ILS investments team at OTPP.
In the role of Investment Associate, ILS she will perform similar duties albeit for a much smaller investment universe across the ILS and reinsurance linked investments space..
