Two new senior hires have joined Ledger Investing, the insurance technology (insurtech) and insurance-linked securities (ILS) focused company.
As Ledger Investing continues to expand its business and team, having raised a significant Series B investment round of $75 million in growth capital last year, the company has now added a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Stefan Gerhard has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry and has a background in raising capital, executing M&A initiatives, investor relations, financial planning and analysis.
He has expertise in raising capital and taking businesses public as well, most recently at mobile esports company Skillz Inc., which went public through a spac merger in late 2020.
His previous roles include at Vaquero Capital, a startup boutique technology investment bank, Nomura Securities, Costanoa Capital Management, Banc of America Securities, JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank.
Ledger Investing has also hired José Pedro Jácome as its new Director of Investor Relations and Fundraising.
Jácome had worked at GAM Investments for almost 12 years, most recently as a Director of International Distribution for the asset manager.
Previously, he’d worked at Millennium Banque Privée, Millennium BCP and Banco Finantia and is a specialist in fixed income, emerging markets and wealth management.
