Euler ILS Partners adds Commissaris as Head Wholesale Distribution, Peier as Investment Analyst

Euler ILS Partners, the specialist Swiss insurance-linked securities (ILS) investment manager, has announced two more hires as it continues to build out its team, adding Anton Commissaris as Head of Wholesale Distribution and Dario Peier as Investment Analyst.

Anton Commissaris was most recently working in Zurich as the Head of Third Party Distribution at Lazard Fund Managers for six years.

Prior to that he spent three years at MFS Investment Management as Managing Director, Switzerland and Australia, prior to which he worked for almost three years at Credit Suisse as Head of Wholesale Distribution for Switzerland and EMEA, and over three years at Aberdeen Asset Management as Head of Business Development, Switzerland.

Euler ILS Partners said, “Anton brings extensive expertise in wholesale distribution across Switzerland and international markets.

“His leadership will be central to broadening our client relationships and further strengthening our distribution platform. We are excited to work with Anton again, having collaborated with him successfully in the past.”

In addition, the ILS manager has also hired Dario Peier as an Investment Analyst.

Peier most recently worked at reinsurance company Toa Re Europe in Zurich for almost three years, in catastrophe modelling roles.

Prior to that he was a teaching assistant at ETH Zurich with a focus on computer science and informatics.

The company said, “Dario brings valuable experience in the reinsurance industry, with a strong background in quantitative analytics, risk modeling and data science. He will focus on advancing our unique investment analytics and modeling capabilities, supporting our data-driven investment approach.”
