Artex Capital Solutions bolsters advisory team with Kenny and Hanley additions

Artex Capital Solutions, the insurance-linked securities market service provider and insurance management specialist, has bolstered its Bermuda advisory team with the addition of two new hires, in Michael Kenny and Andrew Hanley.

Michael Kenny has joined as Senior Vice President and Andrew Hanley (still subject to immigration approval) is joining as Assistant Vice President, with the pair adding depth to the firm’s Capital Solutions Advisory capabilities under the leadership of Ben Wright, Managing Director, Artex Capital Solutions.

They will support the continued growth of the Artex Capital Solutions Advisory team, which works to assist insurance and reinsurance market participants, and alternative capital or insurance-linked securities (ILS) market participants to establish, structure, and optimise reinsurance solutions.

The Artex Capital Solutions Advisory team offers its expertise in regulatory authorisation, capital planning, operational setup, governance, and customised risk transfer solutions.

Kenny will be tasked with leading complex client engagements across the reinsurance and alternative capital markets, including ILS engagements, while Hanley will support advisory projects focused on capital, regulatory, and strategic initiatives.

Hanley has transitioned from Artex’s insurance management business, bringing operational expertise and understanding of the needs of insurance and reinsurance clients.

They will work alongside Artex specialists across Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, and London, bringing together advisory, actuarial, governance, and operational expertise to support clients complex risk and capital challenges.
