Ardonagh Specialty, the holding company for specialist, reinsurance and wholesale broking brands of the Ardonagh Group, has launched a push into the United States with a new North America reinsurance broking team.
Nick Foden-Pattinson, the former CEO of RFIB Americas, is leading the Ardonagh push into the U.S. reinsurance market, along with other former RFIB team members.
Foden-Pattinson has experience in the creation of alternative reinsurance solutions specifically for North American clients.
The new reinsurance broking team will operate under Equinox (Re)Insurance Intermediaries, a licensed brokerage in Connecticut.
Foden-Pattinson will hold the position of President of Equinox (Re)Insurance Intermediaries and work alongside Roland Pike in his role of Chief Operating Officer.
A team of reinsurance brokers, risk modellers and technicians based in London and Greenwich, Connecticut will support this push into the US reinsurance marketplace.
Jeremy Brasier, former MD at RFIB and who has worked broking reinsurance in London and Bermuda with a focus on the US market, is set to lead the London team, supported by Tony Key another former RFIB exec.
Foden-Pattinson will also hold the position of President, Price Forbes Bermuda, another entity of the Ardonagh Specialty broking group.
