Amanda Lyons promoted to CEO of Aon Reinsurance Solutions in Bermuda

Broking giant Aon has promoted long-standing senior employee Amanda Lyons to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its Reinsurance Solutions unit in Bermuda, effective July 1st, subject to regulatory and immigration approvals.

Lyons, who currently serves as Aon’s global product leader for Reinsurance Solutions, will retain that role while taking on leadership of the Bermuda reinsurance platform.

Based in Bermuda, she will be tasked with advancing the firm’s reinsurance growth strategy there, building on a series of recent appointments designed to deepen local capabilities.

Lyons brings deep experience and strong market relationships towards her new position, having worked at the broker for over 17 years.

She became Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions global product leader in May 2024, following her tenure as U.S. Casualty Strategic Growth Leader, where she played a key role in expanding Aon’s casualty offerings.
