The ILS Advisers Fund Index tracks the performance of the Non-Life Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) fund market.
It provides investors with a broadly diversified benchmark that captures the returns of ILS fund managers across different investment strategies and risk/return profiles.
The ILS Advisers Fund Index tracks the performance of participating Insurance Linked Investment funds.
It is the first benchmark that enables a comparison between different insurance-linked securities fund managers in the insurance-linked securities, reinsurance and catastrophe bond investment space.
The index is calculated and maintained by ILS Advisers. Published monthly, the ILS Advisers Fund Index only includes insurance-linked securities (ILS) funds that allocate at least 70% of their assets in non-life risk, using a methodology that is equally weighted and net of management fees.
The ILS Advisers Fund Index has a track-record dating back to 2006 and tracks multiple ILS investment strategies, including catastrophe bonds, private transactions, and other insurance-linked investments.
