With this chart you can see which sponsors currently place the greatest reliance on catastrophe bond and ILS reinsurance or retrocession capacity from the capital markets, who are the most prolific sponsors of ILS and how many cat bond or ILS deals do they currently have in-force.

The data to create this chart is taken from the Artemis Deal Directory so does include some private catastrophe bond transactions, as well as any life, health or longevity insurance-linked securities transactions. Every effort has been made to accurately reflect the size of the catastrophe bond market, the sponsors who issued the deals, as well as the size of cat bond transactions and how much catastrophe bond risk capital is outstanding per sponsor.
