Steve Britton joins Aon in ILS management move from Horseshoe

Steve Britton is joining Aon Captive and Insurance Management, the specialist arm of Aon plc, as Managing Director, Global ILS Management, moving on from Horseshoe Group after five years with the firm.

Britton has over 20 years of experience in capital markets, ILS investment banking, insurance underwriting, insurance management and reinsurance broking.

Prior to joining Aon in its Global ILS Management team, Britton was most recently the head of the Cayman Islands office for insurance-linked securities (ILS) management, servicing, transformation and fronting specialists Horseshoe Group since 2010.

Other previous roles include time with Willis Capital Markets and Fox-Pitt Kelton Cochran Coronia Waller in New York and with Aon Capital Markets in London. Britton has worked across the globe, in locations including Los Angeles, London, New York, Bermuda and Cayman Islands.

Britton will be based in Aon’s Bermuda office.
