Vesttoo, the insurtech that uses proprietary artificial intelligence and machine learning to help companies assess and transfer risks to the capital markets, has added experienced growth equity specialist investment professional and former Goldman Sachs executive Raluca Ragab to its advisory board.
Ragab spent 14 years at Goldman Sachs working in London and New York as a portfolio manager and growth equity investor.
In her time at Goldman Sachs, Ragab led on a number of private investments, including in autonomous driving software company Mobileye, which was later acquired by Intel for $15 billion in 2017.
She has also served on the board of tech firms Global-e and WalkMe.
Most recently, Ragab developed and executed investment firm Vitruvian Partners’ entry into the Israel growth equity market and also into the growth buyout markets of Spain & Portugal, which included setting up a large sourcing network with the local private equity and venture capital ecosystems.
“Raluca is an expert in driving investment and growth who will bring more than a decade of experience to our advisory board,” Yaniv Bertele, CEO and Founder of Vesttoo explained. “She is a rare talent – an investor who can simultaneously foresee macro market trends as well as execute the research and sourcing needed to help propel companies in the stages of rapid growth. She’s a tested investor and we are excited to welcome her to the Vesttoo team.”
