Reinsurance broker and capital agnostic strategic risk advisory TigerRisk Partners LLC has added a new Senior Advisor to its ranks, with the hire of Steven J. Bensinger, previously the CFO of AIG.
Bensinger is a veteran of the insurance and reinsurance industry, with a number of very senior positions behind him. At TigerRisk he will focus on client advisory and strategic transaction development.

Bensinger started in insurance and reinsurance with Coopers & Lybrand where he quickly became partner. He then served as CFO and ultimately as President at Skandia America Group. Following that he held senior leadership positions at Chartwell Re, Trenwick Group and Combined Specialty Group, after which he moved to AIG, first as VP and Treasurer and later as EVP and CFO. Bensinger was then EVP and CFO of The Hanover Insurance Group and his most recent position was as Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting Inc.
