Steve Korducki joining BMS’ capital markets & ILS broker unit

BMS Capital Advisory, Inc., the broker-dealer, ILS and capital markets arm of insurance and reinsurance brokerage BMS, has appointed Steve Korducki as General Securities Representative, effective immediately.

Korducki is a Certified Public Accountant and a licensed Property and Casualty Agent and holds securities licenses including the Series 7, and Series 63. He was an early pioneer in the development of catastrophe bonds and insurance linked securities (ILS) according to BMS.

Currently serving on the BMS Intermediaries U.S. Executive Committee as Executive Vice President, Korducki is also the leader of BMS’ Florida Strategy.

In his new role with BMS Capital Advisory, Korducki will leverage his experience to broker expand the use of non-traditional catastrophe coverage solutions for clients and new business prospects.

BMS Capital Advisory and BMS Intermediaries together aim to offer clients a joined up approach to accessing the most appropriate sources of reinsurance capital for their needs, be that capital markets transactions or traditional reinsurance covers.
