Estera, a global service provider to reinsurance and insurance-linked securities (ILS) markets, has announced the hiring and appointment of Sonal Patel as its new Managing Director, Head of Sales – Americas, Bermuda and Caribbean.
Estera is a global provider of funds, corporate administration and trust services and an active service provider to the ILS and reinsurance markets with a strong presence in Bermuda.
Sonal Patel has been hired from her most recent role at BNY Mellon as Managing Director – Business Development, US and Americas. She has 20 years experience in business development, sales and relationship management.
In her new role at Estera, Patel will be focused on driving the firm’s regional growth strategy, as well as growing and developing relationships with US clients and intermediaries for Estera Bermuda, BVI and Cayman Islands.
