TigerRisk hires Tim Ronda from Aon

TigerRisk Partners LLC, the global risk, capital and reinsurance brokerage and advisory, has announced a new senior hire, taking Tim Ronda from Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions division.

Ronda had been President of Aon Reinsurance Solutions in the US, but was lately given the new role of Global Geographic Leader, to oversee Aon Reinsurance Solutions’ regional capabilities worldwide.

However, despite the new position the senior executive has decided to leave for a competitor, landing at TigerRisk.

TigerRisk said the appointment of Tim Ronda as a senior executive is impending, suggesting a period of gardening leave will apply.

The firm said that Ronda’s hire “further strengthens TigerRisk’s position as an elite player in the reinsurance marketplace.”

Ronda is known for expertise in areas of reinsurance including property, management liability, E&O, employment practices, general and excess liability and workers’ compensation.

As well as his senior roles at Aon, he was also a member of the firm’s reinsurance solutions global executive committee.
