Hiscox Re & ILS, the reinsurance and insurance-linked securities (ILS) division of global re/insurer Hiscox, has appointed Liz Breeze as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), a role she has been interim in since June.
Breeze will be located in Bermuda, subject to Department of Immigration and Bermuda Regulatory approval.
She has been working with Hiscox Re & ILS as Interim CFO since June 2018, prior to which Breeze spent four years as Head of Finance at Hiscox’s UK Retail operations, and before that several years as Hiscox Group Technical Accountant.
Breeze worked as part of the team that worked to set-up and structure Hiscox’s ILS and collateralised reinsurance business activities when the Kiskadee.
Prior to her time working at Hiscox, Breeze was working in Bermuda with accountancy, audit and advisory firm KPMG between 2006 and 2012, hence this new permanent CFO role marks a return to Bermuda for Breeze.
