Kane LPI hires Fournier as Head of Fund Administration Services

Kane LPI, a specialist firm providing fund administration and related services to the international Life, Pension & Investment sector, including to some insurance-linked securities (ILS) funds, has hired Alain Fournier as Head of Kane LPI Fund Administration Services.

Fournier is based in Bermuda and in the role will take responsibility for all aspects of management of the life, pension and investment division and the customised fund administration services it offers.

Fournier will be working closely with Kane LPI CEO John Uprichard and the rest of the Kane LPI senior leadership team, using experience gained in over 15 years of professional accounting in the fund management, investment, reinsurance and securities arenas, in all aspects of finance, compliance and risk management.

Fournier was previously Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer at Bermuda-based investment management company HH Management, having joined the firm in 2010 as a start-up. Before that, he was Group Manager at Citi Hedge Fund Services Ltd, managing the Shareholder Services and Transfer Agency team. Fournier has also worked at Olympia Capital International, Charles Taylor Captive Management Company and KPMG.
