Reinsurance broker JLT Re has named Jeremy Fox as its new Chief Executive Officer for the Asia Pacific region, having hired him from Aon Benfield where he was most recently Chief Operating Officer, Asia Pacific. The broker also announced its regional head office will be in Singapore.
Fox will add to JLT Re’s market knowledge and experience in the Asia Pacific region, with much of his career having been focused in the region.
Fox has worked for EW Payne, Denis Clayton and Aon during his career in reinsurance, with a considerable focus on Treaty and Facultative business, as well as the Asia Pacific region.
He will be based in Singapore and report into Mike Reynolds, Global CEO of JLT Re. He will join the firm later in 2018 once contractual obligations to Aon Benfield have been satisfied. Fox is already known to many of JLT Re’s employees and clients.
JLT Re also said that current leader in APAC Stuart Beatty, who is based in Sydney, will be leaving the reinsurance broker to pursue other career options.
Fox will also take a seat as a member of JLT Re’s Reinsurance Global Executive Committee.
