ILS Asia 2021 – Registration open for our annual ILS conference for Asia

You can now register for the sixth instalment of our annual insurance-linked securities (ILS) conference for and about the Asia region, so reserve your place at our ILS Asia 2021 event today.

Unfortunately, for the second-year running, our ILS Asia conference will be held virtually due to the challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic around the world. We really hope to be back in Asia next year.

So, we are taking ILS Asia 2021 online and virtual again, hosting a number of webcast sessions between Thursday July 8th and Wednesday July 14th, at times suited to as much of our global audience as possible. But, with every session also set to be made available on-demand after the event please register now to ensure you receive all the details over the coming weeks.

Our theme for 2021 is “Expanding market access & opportunities”, which refers to both access to Asian risk and investment capital, as well as the overall growth trend being seen in reinsurance and how that plays into future prospects for the ILS market.

In addition, we will feature specific discussion of Asia as a location for transacting in and investing in ILS, with Singapore making steady headway as a destination for catastrophe bonds and ILS deals, while Hong Kong readies its platform for the ILS market.

While ILS Asia 2021 will of course have a focus on the Asia region, it will also cover broader ILS market themes across a mix of keynotes and panel discussions. For example, we’ll be bringing you an update to last year’s “What investors want…” session, which proved very popular during the 2020 conference.
