This will be our fourth conference in Singapore, following our successful 2018 event that saw over 170 delegates gathering to hear leading ILS and reinsurance market participants from around the world discuss ILS in Asia.
We return to Singapore in 2019 with the goal of demystifying the ILS market and furthering education on the resilience of the asset class, in the wake of two heavy catastrophe loss years. We will look at the way the catastrophe bond, ILS and collateralized reinsurance market responded to the catastrophe losses, what investment managers did to reassure their investors, how risks were reassessed and what needs to happen next to ensure sustainable and profitable growth of the ILS market.
