Hudson Structured Capital Management Ltd., the insurance-linked securities (ILS), reinsurance and transportation focused investment manager, has announced the departure of Partner Simon Fascione who will leave the firm on September 30th.
Simon Fascione has been a Partner of Hudson Structured Capital Management Ltd. and also the Chief Investment Officer of the firms HSCM Bermuda Management Company since the beginning of September 2018.
The company said that following a successful tenure with Hudson Structured, Fascione has decided to leave for personal reasons, as his family is currently living overseas.
Hudson Structured said that Fascione has been “valued and well-liked within his team,” adding that “HSCM thanks Simon for all of his hard work and wishes him well for the future.”
Fascione had joined joined Hudson Structured from his previous role at reinsurance focused asset management company Aeolus Capital Management in Bermuda, where he held the role of Senior Underwriter.
In that role he had been involved in Aeolus’ capital deployment decisions, portfolio management and structuring transactions for clients.
Before that, Fascione had worked at Lancashire Insurance Company Limited where he held a number of senior roles including the joint role of Chief Underwriting Officer (LICL) and Head of Capital Market Initiatives.
